but u never really wanted to go to

somewhere it would've been just me and u

because u were scared I would say I love u

and u'd have to lie and say it back too

but what in the world can u even do

when someone's almost the right thing 4 u

but u never got to say I love u

be4 we lost touch and be4 I lost u

I want it back but I bet u don't too

because u never call me as much as I do

so in ten years time or maybe even 2

come back to me and say u want to

go back to the start and be just us 2

to finally both say "I really love(d) u"

This is a lil poem I wrote after I heard a sound on tiktok that goes "I loved u, I loved, I loved u, it's true. And sometimes I feel like I still fucking do". It's based on a real situationship I had but I dramatised a bit and added a few unreal things.
